Assassin’s Creed Shadows Ubisoft Connect Digital Key

Feudal Japan through two very different eyes

Assassin's Creed Shadows sets its epic action adventure in a beautifully realised feudal Japan, a land moving between spectacular castle towns, bustling ports, quiet shrines and landscapes scarred by war. Weather shifts, seasons change and the world reacts around you as you move through it.

You experience the story through two unlikely allies: Naoe, a shinobi Assassin who relies on stealth and agility, and Yasuke, a legendary samurai who fights with lethal precision and raw power. Each has their own skills, gear and progression, so the way you play as one never feels the same as the other, and you switch between them as their common destiny unfolds.

Building a network, building a legacy

Information is as much a weapon as any blade. You build your own network of spies across the world to track targets, and recruit allies with distinct abilities to support your missions. Away from the field, you shape a customisable hideout for your growing shinobi league, training your crew, crafting gear, talking with key characters, and deciding the base's layout and decorations.

This is the Standard edition of the game, sitting alongside fans of other action games, adventure games and RPG games in the wider catalogue.

How this listing works

This is a digital key for Ubisoft's own platform, redeemed on Ubisoft Connect. Once activated, the game is added to your Ubisoft account and launches through Ubisoft Connect on Windows.

The key is Global region, so it activates worldwide rather than being tied to a specific territory. Assassin's Creed Shadows released on 20 March 2025, developed and published by Ubisoft Entertainment. The listing carries a PEGI 18 rating and supports a wide range of languages including English, French, German, Japanese, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Italian and Spanish.

Other ways to play

If you'd rather activate in a specific territory, there's also the Europe region key for the same Standard edition. Players wanting more content can look at the Deluxe Edition or the Premium Edition on the same Ubisoft Connect platform, and browse the rest of the Ubisoft Connect catalogue for other titles from the publisher.
