Where do I redeem a Microsoft Store key?

Sign in at redeem.microsoft.com or use the Microsoft Store or Xbox app on Windows, choose to redeem a code, and enter it. The game is added to your Microsoft account.

Is this the same as Xbox?

The account is the same Microsoft account, but these titles are the Windows PC versions that install on a PC rather than a console.

Both are here. A key adds a game to your own Microsoft account; an account product already owns the game. Filter by product type to see one kind.

Microsoft Store keys and accounts for PC

The Microsoft Store is where Windows PC games and Game Pass live, from Minecraft and Forza to the day-one first-party releases. Everything here activates on Windows through the Microsoft Store or Xbox app, as a key for your own account or an account that already owns the game.

What the Microsoft Store holds

The Microsoft Store is the built-in storefront on Windows, and the home of Microsoft's own PC catalogue: Minecraft, the Forza and Halo series, and the first-party games that launch there day one, many of them alongside PC Game Pass.

These are the Windows PC versions, installed through the Microsoft Store or Xbox app and tied to a Microsoft account. This page gathers them as keys for your own account and as accounts that already own the game.

Keys and accounts

A key adds a game to your own Microsoft account: redeem it at redeem.microsoft.com or in the Xbox app on Windows, and it installs from there. An account product hands you a separate account that already owns the game, ready to sign in on your PC.

The steps are in the help center: how to activate a Microsoft Store key and how to use a Microsoft Store account.

Buying Microsoft Store games on Keydra

Stock comes from authorised Keydra supply partners, so PC titles can sit below their store price, with a sale running all year rather than a couple of seasonal windows.

Every listing shows the region and edition, and whether it is a key or an account, before checkout. If it does not work as described, support replaces it or refunds you.
