Assassin's Creed Valhalla casts you as Eivor, a Viking raider who leads their clan from Norway to ninth-century England in search of a new home. England itself is fractured into warring kingdoms and petty lords, and it falls to you to carve out territory and build a legacy worthy of Valhalla.

The RPG mechanics let you shape Eivor's path through combat, dialogue and alliances, with every decision feeding into how your saga unfolds. Battles favour a brutal, close-quarters approach: dual-wielding axes and swords, riddling foes with arrows, or striking from the shadows with the Hidden Blade.

Beyond the battlefield, you grow a settlement that reflects your clan's standing, constructing a barracks, blacksmith, tattoo parlour and other buildings that unlock new quests and features. You can also recruit or design mercenary raiders to share online, letting other players' creations fight alongside your friends.
