Asterigos: Curse Of The Stars sends players into Aphes, a city-state drawing on ancient Rome and classical Greek design, from mist-covered bazaar streets and gloomy sewers to enigmatic forests and crystal-filled chasms. Beneath the scenery lies a curse, and the story is pieced together through conversations, documents, cinematics and the protagonist Hilda's own diary, which fills with sketches and observations as the journey continues.

Combat is built around a talent system that lets players pick two of six weapon styles, sword and shield, dual blades, spear, hammer, staff or magic bracelets, and combine them freely.
