A cooperative fight against the Ridden

Back 4 Blood is a cooperative first-person shooter from Turtle Rock Studios, the team behind Left 4 Dead, published by Warner Bros. Games. Humanity is on the brink after a parasite turns much of the population into the Ridden, twisted creatures bent on wiping out what remains of civilisation. You take on the role of one of the immune Cleaners, fighting to push back the infection and reclaim ground.

The 4-player co-op campaign can be tackled online with up to three friends or led solo, working through missions that get progressively harder as the Ridden adapt. A roguelike card system lets you build custom decks and shape different runs, while a Dynamic Game Director keeps adjusting the fights based on how you play, including tougher waves and mutated boss types.

Beyond the campaign

There is also competitive PVP, where you can play as a Cleaner with their own perks and weapons or switch to the Ridden side with different abilities and specialities. Between the eight customisable Cleaners, the card-based decks and the shifting enemy behaviour, no two runs play quite the same.
