Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Deluxe Edition Steam Digital Key

A last expedition against a cursed cycle

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a turn-based RPG built by Sandfall Interactive and published by Kepler Interactive, set in a world drawn from Belle Époque France. Each year the Paintress marks a number on her monolith, and everyone of that age fades away; this time the number is 33, and the Expeditioners set out to break the cycle before it claims them too.

Combat keeps the structure of turn-based battles but layers in real-time dodges, parries and counters, so you chain combos and hit enemy weak points while shaping each Expeditioner's build through gear, stats, skills and synergies. The game runs on Windows and is built in Unreal Engine 5.

What comes in the deluxe edition

Alongside the base game, this deluxe edition adds a set of cosmetic extras for your Expeditioners.

• The base game
• The Flowers Collection: six outfits and hairstyles inspired by the Flowers of Lumière, plus six Gommage outfit variations, one for each playable character
• Clair, a custom outfit for Maelle
• Obscur, a custom outfit for Gustave

How this key works

This is a Steam key for the Global region, so it activates worldwide once redeemed on Steam and added to your library. The game carries a PEGI 18 rating and supports English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Chinese.

If you only want the core game, the Standard edition is listed separately, and if you need a key tied specifically to the Europe region rather than Global, there's also the Europe region deluxe key.

Where it sits among story-driven RPGs

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 stands out among RPGs for pairing JRPG-style structure with real-time reflexes, and it earns its story-rich tag through the way it follows Gustave, Maelle and the rest of Expedition 33 on their doomed mission.

If you're building out a wider shelf of narrative-led games, it sits comfortably alongside other story-rich games.
