Dead Season drops a random group of four survivors into a world overrun by the undead. It is a single-player turn-based tactics game where you guide this band through scavenging, objectives and narrow escapes, always aware that the zombie hordes are never far behind.

The campaign is hand-crafted across 16 missions, with motion comics used to carry the story forward between fights. Combat is unforgiving: you scavenge weapons as you go, level up your survivors and unlock new abilities to cope with harsher environments further into the game. Noise matters too, since making too much of it draws more danger your way, and beyond zombies you will also run into other hostile survivors along the route.

A solo developer's passion project

Dead Season was built as a passion project by a solo developer, working under Iceberg Interactive as publisher. That personal scale shows in the darkened, grim presentation of its streets and nights, where the atmosphere leans on shadow and quiet dread rather than spectacle.
