Dragon Ball: The Breakers puts seven ordinary humans inside a Temporal Seam, a shifting map made up of several linked areas, where they must work out how to escape before time runs out. One player takes the role of the Raider, a classic Dragon Ball antagonist such as Cell or Frieza, who hunts the group and grows steadily more powerful as the match goes on, even destroying parts of the map to shrink the survivors' living space.

Survivors can choose to cooperate as a team or strike out alone if trust breaks down, while the Raider masters unique tracking and hunting powers to close the distance. Vehicles, weapons and a grapple are on hand to help survivors make the most of the environment and even the odds, if only for a while.

Two roles, one shared struggle

Both sides can customise their approach. Survivors and Raiders choose a progression path and unlock skills and skins to suit their own strategy, whether that means slipping past the Raider unseen or hunting down every last member of the group.
