Dying Light: The Beast puts you back in the boots of Kyle Crane, years after his capture and experimentation at the hands of the Baron. Left with both human and zombie DNA, Crane must switch between two playstyles, fragile survivor and raging beast, as he hunts down the man who did this to him.

The setting is Castor Woods, a Swiss Alps inspired valley of tourist towns, industrial sites, farmland and swamps, now overrun with the infected. By day you scavenge and explore; once the sun sets, the tension shifts hard towards run, hide or fight.

Traversal keeps the series' signature first-person parkour, rewarding those who master rooftop movement, and adds off-road vehicles for tearing through hordes on the open road. Up to four players can team up in co-op, sharing progression as they face the horrors of Castor Woods together.
