A dystopian retelling of Robin Hood

Gangs of Sherwood reimagines the legend of Robin Hood in a futuristic dystopia, where the Sheriff of Nottingham's armies, empowered by the Philosopher's Stones, have plunged England into oppression. Playing as Robin, Marian, Friar Tuck or Little John, you lead a rebellion against tyranny, travelling from the depths of Sherwood Forest up to the Sheriff's flying castle.

The game blends third-person shooting, RPG progression and action combat, with each Merry Man offering a distinct, customisable fighting style. Solo or alongside up to three others, you'll rob the rich, redistribute the loot to the poor, and use your reputation and gold to upgrade equipment and unlock new combos as the fight against the Sheriff's forces escalates.

Fighting together

Up to four players can team up in co-op, planning strategies from the shared hideout before heading out to face soldiers, war machines and bosses. Fans of co-op games will find the combination of the four Merry Men's combat styles central to tackling the tougher encounters, while those who enjoy action games with RPG progression will appreciate the gear and skill customisation on offer.
