Guild Wars 2 2000 Gems Code

What this code adds to Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2 is ArenaNet's long-running action RPG MMO, blending casual accessibility with a story rich world that players have explored since its original release on 28 August 2012. This particular listing is not the base game itself but a top-up of 2000 Gems, the in-game currency used throughout Guild Wars 2's Gem Store.

Gems are added to your account via the Black Lion Trading Company, the in-game shop accessible from within Guild Wars 2. Once credited, the 2000 Gems sit ready to spend alongside your existing balance, with no separate currency to manage outside the game itself.

What you can do with the Gems

The Gem Store, reached through the Black Lion Trading Company, is where Gems are actually spent. Most purchases made there are delivered straight to your in-game Mail, so there's no waiting around once you've made your choice.

Redeeming the key and region

This is a Key product type, meaning you redeem the code on NCSoft's platform and the 2000 Gems are then applied to the Guild Wars 2 account you already own on Windows. It's a Global region key, so it activates worldwide regardless of where you're playing from.

Gems can also be traded to other players for in-game coin at the Trading Post, giving them a value beyond direct Gem Store purchases, though how you use them once redeemed is entirely up to you.

For fans of the wider genre

If Guild Wars 2's mix of action, RPG and MMO systems appeals, it sits comfortably alongside other RPG games and action games in the same vein. Those after something more relaxed might also browse casual games, while the game's narrative depth places it firmly among story-rich games worth exploring.
