About Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2 is an MMO built by ArenaNet, first released on 28 August 2012, blending action combat with RPG progression in a persistent online world. It sits comfortably among RPG games and action games for players who want a living world with a story-rich backbone.

The game leans on both structured questing and casual exploration, so it appeals to players who enjoy casual games as well as those drawn to deeper, story-rich adventures.

What this code provides

This is a key that adds 2000 Gems, the premium in-game currency used inside Guild Wars 2's Gem Store. Gems are added to your account via the Black Lion Trading Company, accessible from within the game itself once the code has been redeemed.

With Gems you can buy a range of items through the Gem Store, all delivered to your in-game Mail once purchased.

• Styles: cosmetic outfits and appearance items
• Consumables: boosts and one-off use items
• Services: account-related conveniences
• Accounts: additional character slots and related account options
• Boosts: temporary gameplay bonuses
• Minis: collectible miniature companions
• Updates: expansion or content unlocks available through the store

Region and redemption

This key activates in Europe. It's redeemed on NCSoft, the platform through which Guild Wars 2 accounts and their associated Gem balances are managed.

Once redeemed, the 2000 Gems are credited to the linked Guild Wars 2 account and can be spent immediately in the Gem Store, or traded to other players for in-game coin via the Trading Post.
