High On Life drops you fresh out of high school and straight into an alien invasion, with an intergalactic cartel keen on getting humanity hooked as a drug. Your job, alongside a crew of charismatic, talking guns, is to become the deadliest bounty hunter the cosmos has seen and take down the crime boss Garmantuous and his gang.

Expect a mix of shooting, exploration and dialogue as you travel between distinct biomes, from jungle paradises to a city built inside an asteroid. Each gun has its own personality and skillset, and the game leans on that chatter as much as the combat for its comedic tone.

As a story rich FPS with plenty of banter, it sits comfortably alongside other action games and FPS games on the store, and fans of narrative-driven titles will find it among the story-rich games and adventure games collections too.
