Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii EU Steam Digital Key

A pirate legend for a lost yakuza

Goro Majima washes up on a remote Pacific island with no memory of who he is, and no way home. Rescued by a boy named Noah, he sets sail to piece together his past, only to be dragged into a tangled feud between pirates, criminals and treasure hunters. The result is an over-the-top pirate adventure built on the bones of the Like a Dragon series, mixing brawling, banter and buried loot.

Along the way you build a crew, upgrade a ship and go looking for hidden islands and treasure, all while trying to work out exactly who Goro Majima used to be.

Combat on land and at sea

Ship battles play out as real-time cannon duels, dodging incoming fire before closing in to board and settle things captain to captain. On land, Majima switches between two fighting styles: Mad Dog favours speed and precision strikes, while Sea Dog has him dual-wielding short swords for tricky, close-quarters brawling. Between the two, combat stays varied across the game's action, adventure and RPG elements, and the story-rich framing keeps the plot central to the fighting rather than an afterthought.

What this listing gets you

This is the Standard edition of the game, supplied as a Steam key for Windows. It activates in the Europe region, so it is meant for accounts registered there. Once redeemed on Steam, the game is added to your own Steam library in the usual way.

The game supports a wide spread of languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Chinese and Portuguese (Brazil), so most players should find something they can play comfortably in. It carries a PEGI 18 rating, in line with its violent, mature content.

If you want more from the same world

Fans of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios' style of storytelling might also want to browse other RPG games or story-rich games in similar territory, alongside further action games and adventure games. If your account is registered outside Europe, the same edition is also available as the Global region key, and those after more content can look at the Deluxe Edition instead.
