New World: Aeternum Xbox Series X|S Digital Key

An island of danger and opportunity

New World: Aeternum casts you as a shipwrecked explorer washed up on the supernatural island of Aeternum. It is a world built for exploration and survival, filled with wilderness, ruins and strange inhabitants whose secrets you gradually uncover as you fight, forage and forge your way across it.

Combat mixes magical forces with melee and ranged weapons, and timing and positioning matter more than raw power. As you gather resources and refine them into materials, you craft potions, weapons and gear, steadily growing stronger and unlocking new skills to suit your chosen playstyle.

Play solo or alongside others

You can explore Aeternum alone or team up with others through cross-platform play, and there is scope for head-to-head PvP battles for players who prefer competition over cooperation. This flexibility makes it a solid pick among co-op games as well as a straightforward single-player RPG.

Character customisation extends to look, skills and abilities, and you can experiment with different builds. Mounts add another layer: horses, dire wolves and lions each have their own look, dyeable equipment and a name you set, with their usefulness growing as you level your Riding Trade Skill.
