Cutter Slade returns to Adelpha

Twenty years after the original Outcast, this sequel brings ex-Navy SEAL Cutter Slade back to the alien world of Adelpha, resurrected by the Yods to find the Talans enslaved and the planet stripped of its resources. His past is now tangled up with the invading robot forces threatening the world, and it falls to him, dry wit intact, to go back into the fight.

Developed by Appeal Studios, the original team behind the first Outcast, and published by THQ Nordic, the game leans into non-linear open-world exploration. A jetpack lets Cutter jump, air-dash and glide across the landscape, while a modular weapon system lets you build your own loadout to take on the robot invaders. The soundtrack comes from Lennie Moore, composer on the original Outcast.

What you can do in Adelpha

The world is built to be explored without boundaries, with hidden temples, dangerous wildlife and Talan villages to free along the way. Helping the Talan people also opens up access to their ancient powers, drawn from the forces of nature, which can be turned against your enemies.
