Ready Or Not Steam Account

A tactical SWAT shooter built on realism

Ready Or Not puts players in command of a modern SWAT unit, tasked with defusing hostile and confronting situations. VOID Interactive consulted with real police teams to shape rules of engagement and a scoring system that reward careful, deliberate play rather than reckless aggression.

The game models ballistic penetration, ricochet, kevlar and plate dynamics, along with projectile expansion and momentum, so gunfights carry weight and consequence. Officers can plan an approach before executing it in real time, deploying ballistic shields, door rams and tactical ladders as the situation demands.

With access to over sixty items, players fine tune weapon optics, muzzle attachments, magazines and foregrips, or trade agility for heavy armour and plates. Team leaders can command a squad of AI officers in single player, and the unit's look can be personalised with patches and uniforms.

How the modes work

Ready Or Not offers a few distinct ways to play, suiting solo commanders and teams alike.

• A story-rich single player campaign leading a squad of AI-driven SWAT officers
• A tactical cooperative mode for bringing order to chaos with friends online
• A competitive multiplayer mode pitting teams against a rogue organisation
