Scorn is a first-person horror adventure set in a nightmarish, biomechanical universe of odd forms and somber tapestry. There is no hand-holding here: you are dropped into an interconnected, non-linear world and left to explore its maze-like regions, work out what is happening from environmental storytelling alone, and survive whatever you find along the way.

Interaction with this world is deliberately physical. Objects are picked up with your hands rather than floating into an inventory slot, and machines and instruments are operated by grabbing their controls directly, which keeps you constantly aware of your character's body and presence in the space. Ammo and equipment are limited too, so you are always weighing whether to fight, hide or press on.
