Sea of Stars Sunset Edition Steam Digital Key

A modernised turn-based RPG with heart

Sea of Stars comes from Sabotage Studio, built on a timed-hit combat system where pressing the action button in sync with animations boosts your damage and cuts what you take. There are no random encounters, no separate battle screens and no grinding, just combat that flows straight out of exploration, with multi-character combos, boosting and a locks system for hindering enemies mid-spell.

Traversal is unshackled from the old grid: swim, climb, vault and hoist yourself up ledges as the world opens around you, rendered with a custom dynamic lighting pipeline that gives the pixel art real depth. Alongside the main story you can sail, cook, fish, catch a tavern song or play the tabletop game Wheels, and the whole adventure supports up to three players in couch co-op, or via Steam Remote Play Together, dropping in and out as you go.

What the Sunset Edition includes

This listing is the Sunset Edition, which bundles the base game with the Throes of the Watchmaker DLC in a single package, so both are ready to redeem together rather than bought separately. If you only want the core adventure without the add-on, the standard edition of Sea of Stars is also available on the same platform.

• Throes of the Watchmaker DLC

How this key works

This is a digital key for Steam on Windows, activating worldwide as a Global region key rather than being tied to a specific territory. Once redeemed on Steam it unlocks Sea of Stars and its included DLC on your own account, carrying an age rating of PEGI 7 and supporting a wide spread of languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese Brazil, Russian, Chinese and Italian.

Sea of Stars sits comfortably among other RPG games and adventure games, and fans of narrative-driven indie titles will find plenty to like here. Browsers looking for more add-ons can also check the wider range of DLC and expansions, or explore further Steam keys alongside this one.
