Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 Steam Digital Key

Scrapping ships is a serious business

Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 builds on the first game by putting you back on the coast with a hammer and a torch, tearing apart the hulks that wash up for demolition. This time the ships are bigger, the parts are heavier and the mechanics from the original have been reworked and expanded.

You take on real dismantling work: cutting through hulls, hauling out engines, pumps and control panels, and hiring workers to help with the biggest jobs. Order new ships through the computer at your base, work through the salvage tasks that come with each one, and gather steel, aluminium and copper as you go. The job comes with real hazards too, from gas leaks to electric shocks and toxic fumes in unsecured compartments, so a helmet is not optional.

What you will be doing

• Demolish large ship sections using a crane and container for the biggest fragments
• Break down engines, pumps, control panels and other modules
• Collect and sort steel, aluminium and copper for value
• Order new ships and complete the salvage tasks attached to each one
• Watch for gas leaks, electric shock and toxic exposure while you work

For fans of hands-on simulation

If demolition and salvage work appeals, Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 sits comfortably alongside other simulation games and casual games built around methodical, hands-on tasks. It also crosses into action games territory thanks to the physical destruction at its core, while its structure of orders and objectives gives it something in common with adventure games built around task progression.
