Starkiller's story continues

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II picks up the tale of Starkiller, Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice, as he tries to piece together his own identity and find his way back to Juno Eclipse. Darth Vader, meanwhile, is attempting to clone his former apprentice to forge the ultimate Sith warrior, so the chase runs in both directions across the galaxy. The game sits between the events of Episode III and Episode IV, giving fans of the films another angle on that stretch of the saga.

Developed by Aspyr Studios and published by LucasArts, Lucasfilm and Disney, this is a hack and slash action adventure with a story-rich core, built around Starkiller's continued search for answers.

Force powers and combat

Starkiller wields dual lightsabers this time round, with new combo attacks to punish waves of enemies. Force powers get an upgrade too, including the Mind Trick, which turns enemies against their own allies, and Force Fury, which pushes his attacks and Force abilities to their peak for short bursts.

Combat and environments are driven by Pixelux's Digital Molecular Matter alongside euphoria from Natural Motion and the Havok Physics system, so fights and destructible scenery react with a fair bit of weight behind them. Customisation options let you change up costumes and swap in power-enhancing lightsaber crystals as you fight through the challenge levels and boss encounters.
