Stellaris – First Contact Story Pack DLC Steam Digital Key

New stories for your galaxy

First Contact is a story pack for Stellaris that adds fresh origins and mechanics built around early encounters between your civilisation and the alien empires you'll inevitably run into. It leans into the tension of not knowing whether a first meeting will be peaceful or hostile.

Alongside the new origins, the pack introduces broader pre-FTL interaction options, letting you decide how your civilisation reveals itself to less advanced neighbours, and cloaking technology, so you can equip ships to survey in secret or keep a quiet eye on developing worlds nearby.

What's included

The pack adds three new origins, each built around a different first contact scenario.

• Broken Shackles: begin as escaped alien captives banding together to survive
• Payback: repel an invading power and inherit their advanced technology
• Fear of the Dark: navigate a divided society wary of what lurks beyond your home system

How this listing works

This is a Steam key for the Steam DLC version of First Contact, activating worldwide since it's a Global region key. You'll need the base game Stellaris on Steam already, as this pack builds on it rather than standing alone.

Once redeemed on Steam, the content unlocks against your own Steam account and platform library, available on Windows, Linux and Mac.

Good to know before you play

Stellaris sits in the simulation and strategy space, and this pack is aimed squarely at players who enjoy shaping the early history of their empire rather than just managing its late-game machinery.

The game carries a PEGI 7 rating and supports a wide spread of languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. If you're building out a wider collection, it's worth browsing other Steam keys, strategy games, simulation games or further DLC and expansions for Stellaris.
