Stellaris GOG Digital Key

A grand strategy game set among the stars

Stellaris, developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive, brings the studio's grand strategy pedigree to the depths of space. Released on 9 May 2016, it asks you to guide a species from its first steps off homeworld to command of a sprawling empire, choosing whether to expand through diplomacy or war as you go.

The galaxy is procedurally generated and enormous, filled with thousands of planets to survey and anomaly events that spark emergent stories as you travel. A wide roster of playable species, each with distinct traits and engineering styles, sits alongside a ship designer that lets you customise vessels down to civilian craft, and diplomacy tools for dealing with the many unique random species you encounter.

What this listing gives you

This is a Standard edition key for Stellaris on GOG.com, redeemed through GOG to add the game to your GOG library as a DRM-free installation. The key activates worldwide, so it works regardless of where you are based.

The game runs on Windows, Mac and Linux, and supports German, English, French, Spanish, Polish, Russian, Chinese and Portuguese (Brazil), so most players will find the game in their own language. It carries a PEGI 7 age rating.

For fans of deep strategy and simulation

Stellaris sits comfortably among strategy games for anyone who enjoys long-term planning, empire management and reacting to unpredictable events, and its systems-driven approach also appeals to fans of simulation games who like watching complex systems unfold. Multiplayer support for up to 32 players means it can be shared with a wider group rather than played solo.

If you prefer building your PC library without DRM, this key sits well alongside other GOG titles you may already own.
