An action-adventure set in a forgotten valley

Stray Blade drops you into Acrea, the Lost Valley, a ruined and overgrown civilisation you discover, die in, and are then mysteriously revived to. The price of that revival is a binding to the land, and the only way to earn your freedom is to restore balance to a place torn apart by war. Your companion Boji, a skilled craftsman, travels with you throughout.

Combat is built around a hyper-responsive melee system that rewards quick reactions and precise timing, blade to blade. Along the way you face down God-Kings whose fallen legacies still shadow the valley, and toppling them unlocks new domains and powers to explore.

The world itself changes as you play. Victories leave a lasting mark on Acrea, and revisiting earlier areas shows the consequences of your own actions, for better or worse, as time keeps moving even after death.

Two characters, two ways to grow

Progression runs on separate talent trees for the adventurer and for Boji. The adventurer levels up through battle, while Boji grows his craft by discovering pieces of ancient lore, so the pair develop in different but complementary directions as you push further into the ruins.
