Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter picks up after Estelle and Joshua become senior bracers, only for Joshua to vanish on the eve of the Queen's Birthday Festival with nothing but a farewell message. Estelle sets out across the continent to find him, and finds herself drawn into the machinations of the shadowy society Ouroboros as it works to plunge the Kingdom of Liberl into chaos.

The story builds towards a capital in flames, a colossal airship overhead and the looming threat of the Shining Ring, as Estelle and her allies try to untangle the conspiracy behind it all before it is too late.
