Triangle Strategy puts you in command of Serenoa, heir of House Wolffort, at the centre of a tangled political plot where every choice steers the story. Developed by Team Asano and published by Square Enix, the game blends 3D environments with pixel-art characters and detail in its HD-2D visual style, giving the realm of Norzelia a distinctive look.

You can recruit over 20 playable characters, each with their own skills, and lead them through battles fought on multi-tiered maps. Terrain matters here: flanking enemies and linking elemental attacks can turn a battle in your favour, and levelling up your recruits opens new abilities and upgrades.

Choices with consequences

Every decision you make feeds into one of three convictions, Utility, Morality, or Liberty, which together shape Serenoa's worldview and determine which allies choose to join your cause. Because these convictions steer the story, the game rewards multiple playthroughs to see how different choices change the adventure.

Between battles you're free to explore, scout for advantages, and return to your encampment to check on allies, gather items, fight mock battles and obtain quietuses, all part of preparing properly before the next confrontation.
