Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic Steam Digital Key

Build and run a soviet republic

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic puts you in charge of a planned economy from the ground up. You decide how resources are mined, how goods are manufactured, and how services such as healthcare, education, entertainment and tourism reach your citizens. Every decision, from construction and transportation to trade policy, feeds into the loyalty and daily lives of the people you govern.

The game runs on layered simulations covering global market prices, electricity and water distribution, and seasonal heat supply, so the settings can be tuned to suit players who want deep economic detail or a gentler introduction to city building.

Transport and people management

A sprawling republic needs roads, railways, sea routes and air links working together, and the transport network has to keep growing as cities spread out around resource hubs on the game's large maps. Alongside logistics sits the human side of the republic: citizens work the fields, staff the factories and keep industry running, and their happiness and loyalty depend on the choices you make for them.

Modding and extras

The game includes dedicated modding tools, and the Steam Workshop hosts a wide range of player-made buildings and vehicles, letting you shape the republic further beyond the base content.
