Can I use a Canadian card in Germany?

No. Each Cineplex gift card belongs to the country it was issued for and is only accepted there. Choose the card that matches the shop or cinemas the recipient visits.

How do I receive the code?

The code is delivered to your order once payment completes, and you can then use it at checkout.

What happens to money left on the card?

About Cineplex gift cards

Cineplex is a cinema chain known for big screen releases, premium formats and concession counters. A Cineplex gift card works like stored value: the amount on the code goes towards whatever the card is accepted for, whether that is a seat for a new release or something from the snack bar.

It suits film fans, birthday and thank you gifts, and anyone who would rather hand over a balance than pick a specific screening. Values run from small amounts up to larger gift sums, in Canadian dollars or euros depending on the country the code belongs to. Other brands are grouped with it in the prepaid and gift card range.

How to redeem a Cineplex gift card

Redemption is the same idea in both currencies: the code goes into the gift card field when you pay. Full terms are published by Cineplex for each country.

Open the Cineplex site or shop for the country your card was issued for.
Choose your tickets or items and go to checkout.
Find the gift card or voucher field on the payment step.
Enter the code exactly as supplied.
Apply the code and pay any remaining amount by another method.

Regions and where the card works

Cineplex gift cards are tied to the country they were issued for. A Canadian code is spent in Canadian dollars through the Canadian Cineplex shop and its cinemas, while a German code is spent in euros through the German shop. The two are separate and a code from one country will not be accepted by the other.

Buy the card for the country where the recipient will actually use it, rather than the country you are ordering from.
