AVG product keys activate paid features in AVG security products such as AVG Internet Security and AVG Ultimate. Here is how to enter yours.
Before You Start
- AVG downloaded and installed from avg.com
- Your AVG activation code
Method 1: In the AVG Application
- Open the AVG application.
- Click Menu (three horizontal lines, top-right corner).
- Select “My Subscription”.
- Click “Enter a valid activation code”.
- Paste your activation code and click “Activate”.
Method 2: Via AVG Account Online
- Go to id.avg.com and sign in.
- Navigate to “Subscriptions”.
- Click “Enter an activation code”.
- Paste your code and confirm.
Tips
- AVG and Avast are owned by the same company. Do not use an Avast key for AVG or vice versa.
- Each code includes a subscription duration and device limit.
- Your subscription begins as soon as the code is activated.
