Before You Start
- A Microsoft account (free to create at account.microsoft.com)
- Your Microsoft 365 product key (25 characters)
How to Activate
- Go to setup.office.com (or office.com/setup).
- Sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Enter your 25-character product key.
- Select your country/region and language, then click “Next”.
- Follow the prompts to complete the setup.
- Microsoft 365 apps will be available for download from your account.
Tips
- Microsoft 365 Personal is for one user. Microsoft 365 Family supports up to 6 users.
- Your subscription period (usually 12 months) begins when the key is redeemed.
- Includes 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage per user.
- After redemption you can install Microsoft 365 on multiple devices (PC, Mac, tablet, phone).
