About Behaviour Interactive
Based in Montreal, Behaviour Interactive develops and publishes games with a strong leaning towards horror and survival, co-op action and puzzle-driven adventure. Dead by Daylight is its best known title, a multiplayer survival horror game built around licensed guest killers and survivors, supported by a steady stream of chapter releases.
The publisher also brings work from other teams to players: The Casting of Frank Stone was made by Supermassive Games, and the puzzle adventure Islands of Insight comes from Lunarch Studios. Meet Your Maker and Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade round out the range with building, raiding and squad-based shooting.
Games and series in the catalogue
Dead by Daylight sits at the centre of the listings, with Gold Edition content and a wide spread of add-ons: the Resident Evil and Resident Evil: PROJECT W chapters, Castlevania, Chucky, Dungeons & Dragons, All Things Wicked, the Nicolas Cage Chapter Pack, Ghost Face and the Terror Expansion Pack. These DLC listings are add-ons rather than standalone games, so the base game is needed to use them.
Beyond Dead by Daylight, the range covers horror adventure in The Casting of Frank Stone, build-and-raid action in Meet Your Maker, thousands of puzzles in Islands of Insight and 40K shooting in Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade. Most titles run on Steam, with Meet Your Maker also covered on Xbox Series X|S, The Casting of Frank Stone on Microsoft platforms and Dead by Daylight Gold Edition on Xbox One. Releases span 2021 to 2025, and titles arrive as keys or as game accounts with the game already on them.
How buying works
A key is redeemed on the platform the listing names: Steam titles and all Dead by Daylight DLC activate in the Steam client, while Xbox and Microsoft listings are redeemed on a Microsoft account. If you have not done it before, the guide on activating a Steam key walks through the steps. An account, by contrast, comes with the game already on it, so you sign into it instead of redeeming a code; Islands of Insight is covered by account and gift options rather than a key.
Games are sold per region, and a key must match the region of the account it is activated on, so check the listing region against your account before buying. The help centre explains how region locking works in more detail.
Common questions
- Which platform do these games activate on?
- Each listing names its platform. Steam listings are redeemed in the Steam client, while Xbox and Microsoft listings are redeemed on a Microsoft account.
- Will a key work in another country?
- Only if the region of the key matches the region of the account you redeem it on. A key sold for one region cannot be activated on an account set to a different one.
- What is the difference between a key and an account?
- A key is a code you redeem to add the game to your own library. An account comes with the game already on it, so you sign in with the details supplied rather than redeeming anything.
- Do the Dead by Daylight chapters need the base game?
- Yes. The chapter and expansion listings are DLC, so Dead by Daylight must already be on the account you use them with.
- When do I receive my key or account details?
- The key or account details are delivered to your order once payment completes.
