About Stunlock Studios
Based in Sweden, Stunlock Studios builds action games with a strong focus on combat and multiplayer. Its work leans on readable, skill-led fighting rather than slow simulation, and V Rising carries that approach into a survival and base-building setting where players rise as a weakened vampire and rebuild their power.
V Rising blends action, adventure and open-world survival with co-op and shared server play, which is why the studio's output sits comfortably alongside both MMO-style and action titles for PC.
Stunlock Studios games in the catalogue
V Rising is the centrepiece: a third-person survival game in which you gather resources, build a castle and hunt bosses across a region that punishes exposure to the sun. It comes as a key, as an account and as a gift-based delivery, all on Steam.
Alongside the base game, a large share of the range is made up of add-on content. That includes the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack and the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Bundle, Dracula's Relics Pack, Founder's Pack: Eldest Bloodline, Sinister Evolution Pack, Eternal Dominance Pack and the Razer Serpent Pack. These are sold as keys, with several also offered through gift delivery, and they sit within the wider selection of open-world games for PC and Steam keys.
How buying Stunlock Studios games works
Everything from Stunlock Studios here is for PC and activates on Steam, so the game is added to a Steam library and downloaded from there. A key is redeemed on your own Steam account; if you follow the steps for activating a Steam key the title appears in your library straight away. An account option comes with the game already on it, so you sign in with the details provided instead of redeeming anything.
Games are sold per region, and a key has to match the region of the account it is redeemed on, so check the region of the item against your Steam account before buying. The guide on region locking explains how that works in practice. DLC packs require the V Rising base game on the same account to be usable.
Common questions
- Which platform do these games activate on?
- All Stunlock Studios titles in the catalogue are PC versions that activate on Steam. Once redeemed, the game is installed and launched through the Steam client.
- Will a key bought in another country work?
- Only if the key's region matches the region of the Steam account you redeem it on. A key intended for one region will be rejected by an account registered elsewhere, so match the two before purchase.
- What is the difference between a key and an account?
- A key is a code you redeem on your own Steam account, and the game then stays in your library. An account comes with the game already on it and is signed into rather than redeemed.
- Do the V Rising DLC packs need the base game?
- Yes. The cosmetic and content packs add to V Rising and require the base game on the same Steam account to be used.
- When do I receive the key or account details?
- The key or account details are delivered to your order once payment completes.
