About Vertigo Games
Vertigo Games publishes and makes VR games, with a focus on action, shooting and adventure experiences designed for headsets rather than ported to them. The Arizona Sunshine games, set in a sun-bleached zombie apocalypse, are its best-known line, alongside the four-player co-op shooter After the Fall and the stealth-driven Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow.
Its published slate brings in work from outside studios, including Mixed Realms Pte and Maze Theory, spanning titles such as Hellsweeper VR, The 7th Guest VR and The 7th Guest Remake, the strategy-flavoured Skyworld and Skyworld: Kingdom Brawl, the air guitar game Unplugged and the traffic-directing Traffic Jams.
Games in the catalogue
Releases here span 2016 to 2025 and cover adventure, action, FPS, co-op and indie ground. Alongside the Arizona Sunshine line sit Metro Awakening, The Wizards - Dark Times: Brotherhood, Hellsweeper VR and the puzzle-led The 7th Guest VR and The 7th Guest Remake.
Most titles activate on Steam, and a good part of the range is sold as Steam keys. Arizona Sunshine 2 also appears for PlayStation 5, and Skyworld: Kingdom Brawl covers Meta Quest as well as Steam. If you are after the shooting side of the list, the FPS side of the range leans on After the Fall and the Arizona Sunshine games.
A sizeable share of the listings are DLC and expansion content, which attaches to the matching base game and needs that game on the same account.
How buying works
A key is redeemed on the store it was made for, so a Steam key is added to your Steam library and stays tied to that account; the Steam key activation guide walks through the steps. Arizona Sunshine 2 and After the Fall are also listed as accounts, which arrive with the game already on them and are signed into instead of redeemed.
Games are sold per region, and a key has to match the region of the account it is being activated on, so check the region of a listing against your account before redeeming. How that works in practice is explained in the notes on region locking.
Common questions
- Which platform do these games activate on?
- Most Vertigo Games titles in the catalogue activate on Steam. Arizona Sunshine 2 is also listed for PlayStation 5, and Skyworld: Kingdom Brawl covers Meta Quest as well as Steam.
- Will a key work in another country?
- Only if the key's region matches the region of the account you redeem it on. A key made for one region will not activate on an account set to a different one, so match the two before buying.
- What is the difference between a key and an account?
- A key is a code you redeem to add the game to your own library. An account comes with the game already on it, so you sign into it rather than redeeming anything.
- Do DLC listings need the base game?
- Yes. Expansions and add-on content require the matching base game on the same account before they can be used.
- When do I get my key or account details?
- The key or account details are delivered to your order once payment completes.
