Can I use a Deliveroo gift card in another country?

No. The credit is tied to the Deliveroo account of the country the card was issued for. Buy the card that matches the country where the recipient orders.

How do I receive the code?

The code is delivered to your order once payment completes, and you then add it to a Deliveroo account through the app.

What happens to leftover balance?

Any unused credit stays on the Deliveroo account and is applied automatically to later orders until it runs out.

Can the credit cover delivery and service fees?

Credit is applied to the order total at checkout, which includes the food along with delivery and service charges.

Do I need a Deliveroo account to use the card?

Yes. The code must be added to a Deliveroo account, so sign in or register one before redeeming.

Deliveroo gift cards

A Deliveroo gift card adds credit to a Deliveroo account, ready to spend on food delivery from local restaurants, takeaways and grocery partners.

Once the code is added, the balance sits in the account and is applied at checkout on the next order, covering the food itself along with the usual delivery and service charges.

About Deliveroo gift cards

Deliveroo is a delivery service that connects customers with restaurants, takeaways and shops in their city, with orders placed through the Deliveroo app or website and brought to the door by a rider. Credit from a gift card behaves like money in the account, so it can go towards a single large order or several smaller ones until the balance runs out.

The cards suit anyone who orders in regularly, as well as gifts for students, housemates or family members who would rather choose their own meal. Face values run from small top-ups suitable for one order up to larger amounts in dirhams, pounds, euros and Hong Kong dollars. Deliveroo sits alongside other prepaid gift cards for everyday spending.

How to redeem a Deliveroo gift card

The code is added to the account through the app, after which the credit appears against the account balance. For a fuller walkthrough with screenshots, see the help-centre guide.

Open the Deliveroo app and sign in, or register a new Deliveroo account.
Go to the My Account page.
Select Vouchers and Credit.
Tap Add Code on iOS, or the plus button on Android.
Enter the gift code and press Submit.
Check that the credit shows against your account, then place an order.

Regions and where the card works

Deliveroo gift cards are tied to the country they were issued for, and the credit can only be added to a Deliveroo account registered in that same country. A card bought for one market will not load onto an account in another, and the currency of the credit matches the country of issue.

Choose the card for the country the recipient actually orders food in, rather than where the card is bought. If you are unsure, check which Deliveroo country site or app version they use before buying.

Regions currently listed for Deliveroo: United Arab Emirates, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium, Hong Kong. Use the region filter beside the results to see the cards for one country.
