Can I use a talabat gift card in another country?

No. Each code is tied to the talabat service of the country it was issued for and to that country's currency. Buy the card for the country where the orders will be placed.

What happens to any balance I do not use?

An eGift code is valid for a single transaction, so it should be applied to an order worth at least its face value. Any part of the value not used on that order is not kept for later.

Does the code cover delivery charges?

No. The voucher discount applies to the order value, and delivery charges are paid separately through another payment method.

How do I receive the code?

The eGift code is delivered to your order once payment completes, ready to enter in the talabat app.

Do I need a talabat account?

Yes. The code can only be redeemed by a registered customer and only when paying online through the app.

About talabat gift cards

talabat is a food and grocery delivery service used across the Middle East, with restaurant menus and shop orders handled through its app. A talabat gift card turns into a voucher discount inside the app, so the code's value goes towards the cost of an order placed by a registered account.

Codes are issued per country and denominated in that country's currency, covering everything from a single meal to a larger amount to spread across orders. The card sits alongside other food and delivery codes in the wider prepaid gift card range.

How to redeem a talabat gift card

Redemption happens in the talabat app at the payment stage, and the code applies to one order only. The order total needs to be slightly above the face value of the code, by a small amount in the local currency, for the discount to apply.

Download the talabat app from the Google Store or Apple Store.
Sign in to your registered talabat account.
Select your order and proceed to checkout.
Enter your eGift code under Got Discount and select Redeem.
Check that the face value appears as a voucher discount in the payment summary.
Pay the remaining total and the delivery charges using an online payment method.

Regions and which card to choose

Each talabat gift card is issued for one country's talabat service and in that country's currency, so a code bought for one market will not apply to an order placed in another. Choose the card that matches the country the recipient orders in.

Regions are listed separately for this reason, and the currency shown in a card's title indicates the market it belongs to.

Regions currently listed for talabat: United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain. Use the region filter beside the results to see the cards for one country.
