Kaspersky product keys activate security products like Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Internet Security, and Kaspersky Total Security. Here’s how to activate yours.
Before you start
- Download and install Kaspersky from kaspersky.com/downloads
- Your product activation code (usually formatted as XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX)
Method 1: During installation
- When installing Kaspersky, you’ll be prompted to enter an activation code.
- Enter your product key and click “Activate”.
- The product will be activated with the license period starting immediately.
Method 2: After installation
- Open the Kaspersky application on your PC.
- Click “License” or look for an activation option (usually at the bottom of the main window or in Settings).
- Click “Activate application” or “Enter activation code”.
- Enter your product key.
- Click “Activate”. Your license will be updated.
Method 3: Via My Kaspersky
- Go to my.kaspersky.com and sign in (or create an account).
- Click “Add activation code”.
- Enter your key and link it to your account.
- You can then apply the license to any device connected to your My Kaspersky account.
Tips
- Each key has a specific license duration (1 year, 2 years, etc.) and device limit (1, 3, 5, or 10 devices).
- The license period begins when you first activate the key.
- Make sure the key matches the product you’re installing (e.g., Internet Security key for Internet Security app).
- Kaspersky may be restricted or unavailable in some countries.
