Before you start
Make sure you have the following ready:
- A Rockstar Games Social Club account (free to create at socialclub.rockstargames.com)
- The Rockstar Games Launcher installed on your PC
- Your product key
Method 1: Via the Rockstar Games Launcher (Recommended)
- Open the Rockstar Games Launcher and sign in to your Social Club account.
- Click the menu icon (☰) in the top-right corner.
- Select “Redeem Code”.
- Enter your product key and click “Redeem”.
- The game will be added to your library and ready to download.
Method 2: Via the Rockstar Website
- Go to socialclub.rockstargames.com/activate and sign in.
- Enter your product key in the activation field.
- Click “Activate” to add the game to your Social Club account.
- Open the Rockstar Games Launcher to download and install the game.
Tips
- Copy and paste your key to avoid typos.
- Even if you purchased a Rockstar game on Steam, some titles may require the Rockstar Launcher to run. This is normal.
- Rockstar keys are typically not region-locked, but check the product description.
- Each key can only be redeemed once and is permanently linked to your Social Club account.
