ESET product keys activate security products like ESET NOD32 Antivirus, ESET Internet Security, and ESET Smart Security. Here’s how to activate yours.
Before you start
- Download and install ESET from eset.com/download
- Your ESET license key or activation code
Method 1: During installation
- During the ESET installation wizard, you’ll be prompted to activate your product.
- Select “I have a license key” (or “Use a purchased license”).
- Enter your license key and click “Continue”.
- The product will activate and begin protecting your device.
Method 2: After installation
- Open the ESET application.
- Click “Help and support” or go to “Update” → “Activate Product”.
- Select “Activation Key”.
- Enter your license key and click “Activate”.
Method 3: Via ESET HOME
- Go to home.eset.com and sign in or create an account.
- Click “Add license” or “Activate”.
- Enter your product key.
- You can manage all your ESET licenses and devices from the ESET HOME dashboard.
Tips
- ESET licenses are tied to a number of devices and a time period.
- Make sure you install the correct ESET product that matches your key.
- The license starts when you first activate. Don’t activate until you’re ready to use it.
- You can transfer your ESET license to a new device by deactivating it on the old one.
