Google Play gift cards add credit to your Google Play balance, which you can use for apps, games, movies, books, YouTube Premium, and more.
Before you start
- A Google account
- Your Google Play gift card code
Method 1: Via the Google Play Store App (Android)
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap “Payments & subscriptions” → “Redeem gift code”.
- Enter your code and tap “Redeem”.
Method 2: Via the Google Play Website
- Go to play.google.com/redeem and sign in.
- Enter your gift card code.
- Click “Redeem”. The credit will be added to your Google Play balance.
Tips
- Google Play gift cards are region-locked. The card must match your Google account’s country.
- The balance can be used for apps, games, movies, books, YouTube Premium, Google One, and more.
- Google Play credit does not expire.
- You can check your balance in the Google Play Store under Payments & Subscriptions → Budget & history.
- Each code can only be redeemed once.
