About ASDA gift cards

ASDA is one of the largest supermarket chains in the United Kingdom, selling groceries, everyday household goods and, through its George range, clothing, footwear and homeware. An ASDA gift card holds a fixed balance in pounds sterling that is applied to an order at checkout.

The cards are a practical choice for anyone who wants to set aside money for food shopping, or as a present for a household rather than a single hobby. Values run from small amounts suitable for a top-up through to larger sums for a full shop, and sit alongside other prepaid gift cards for retail and everyday spending.

How to redeem an ASDA gift card

Each card comes with a gift card number and a PIN. Both are needed to apply the balance to an order.

Go to groceries.asda.com or george.com and sign in to your account.
Add the items you want to your basket.
Continue to the checkout and open the gift card section.
Enter the gift card number exactly as supplied.
Enter the PIN that came with the card.
Apply the card so the balance is deducted from your order total.

Region and where the card works

ASDA gift cards are issued for the United Kingdom and are intended for UK ASDA shopping, in pounds sterling. A card should be bought for the country the recipient shops in, so a UK card suits someone ordering from a UK ASDA account and delivery address.

ASDA does not trade under this name outside the United Kingdom, so the balance has no use on other retailers' stores or on non-UK accounts.
