Coles gift cards
A Coles gift card is a prepaid eGift code used at Coles Supermarkets in Australia. It is presented at the checkout and applied towards the shopping in your trolley.
Face values run from small amounts for a top-up shop to larger amounts suited to a full weekly grocery run.
About Coles gift cards
Coles is one of Australia's large supermarket chains, stocking fresh produce, meat, bakery items, pantry staples, chilled and frozen food, drinks and everyday household goods. A Coles gift card covers a grocery shop in the same way cash or a card would, so the recipient chooses what goes in the basket.
It suits anyone buying a practical present, a housewarming gift or a contribution towards someone's food budget, and works equally well as a way of setting aside a fixed amount for groceries. The amounts listed span small everyday values through to larger sums, and sit alongside other prepaid gift cards for retail and food brands.
How to redeem a Coles gift card
A Coles eGift card is redeemed in store at a Coles Supermarket, either at a staffed checkout or at self-checkout.
- Take your shopping to the checkout at a Coles Supermarket.
- At a staffed lane, hand the eGift card details to the checkout assistant at the point of purchase.
- At self-checkout, choose the gift card payment option.
- Scan the barcode shown on the eGift card.
- Enter the pin when prompted to complete payment.
Region and where it works
Coles gift cards are issued in Australian dollars for use at Coles Supermarkets in Australia, so the card should be bought for the country where the recipient does their shopping. A card intended for the Australian stores will not apply to a supermarket account or checkout in another country.
Check the region marked on the card before buying, and match it to where the groceries will actually be purchased.
