Can the card be used outside my own country?

Yes. The card is a global one and is redeemed on an eSIMania.com account, not on a country-specific store. Data plans are then chosen for whichever destination you need.

How is the code delivered?

The code is delivered to your order once payment completes, and it can then be entered in the gift cards area of the account.

What happens to any leftover balance?

Unused credit stays on the eSIMania.com account balance and can be put towards a later data plan. It is not returned as cash.

Can someone else redeem the code?

Yes. The code can be passed to another person, who redeems it on their own eSIMania.com account. Only one account can use a given code.

Do I need a special phone?

An eSIM data plan needs a device that supports eSIM profiles. It is worth confirming this before buying credit intended for a specific trip.

eSIMoney gift cards

An eSIMoney gift card is a prepaid code that adds credit to an account on eSIMania.com, where the balance goes towards eSIM data plans for use abroad.

The card is denominated in US dollars and redeemed straight into the account, so the credit is ready when a data plan is chosen.

About eSIMoney gift cards

eSIMania.com sells eSIM data packages that can be installed on a compatible phone without swapping a physical SIM, which makes them popular with travellers who want mobile data on arrival rather than roaming on a home plan. An eSIMoney gift card converts into account credit that can be spent on those plans.

The card suits frequent travellers, remote workers and anyone buying data for a family member's trip, since the code can be passed on and redeemed by the recipient. Face values run in US dollars from small top-ups to larger amounts, so the credit can cover a single short-stay plan or several journeys. Other prepaid codes of this kind sit alongside it in the prepaid gift card range.

How to redeem an eSIMoney gift card

Redemption happens in the account area on eSIMania.com, and the credit stays on the account until a data plan is bought.

Sign in to your account at esimania.com/auth/login.
Open the gift cards area at esimania.com/account/gift-cards.
Enter the gift card code exactly as supplied.
Confirm the entry and check that the credit has been added to your balance.
Choose an eSIM data plan and pay using the account credit.

Region and where the card works

eSIMoney gift cards are listed as Global, so the code is redeemed on an eSIMania.com account regardless of the country the buyer is in. The value is set in US dollars, and the credit applies to plans priced in that currency.

Because the credit lives on the account rather than on a national store, the main thing to check is that the recipient uses eSIMania.com and has a device that supports eSIM profiles for the destination they are travelling to.

Regions currently listed for eSIMoney: Global. Use the region filter beside the results to see the cards for one country.
