Can I use an Eurostar gift card in another country?

No. Each card is tied to the country store and currency it was issued for, so it should be used on the matching Eurostar site. Choose the card for the country the traveller books from.

Where can the credit be spent?

Gift cards can only be spent at eurostar.com. They are not accepted through other booking sites or travel agents.

What happens if my fare costs more than the card?

The voucher reduces the total at checkout and you pay the remainder with another payment method.

How do I receive the code?

The code is delivered to your order once payment completes, and you enter it at the Eurostar checkout.

Can I use a gift card towards more than one booking?

That depends on the terms attached to the individual card. Check the details supplied with your code before planning multiple journeys.

Eurostar gift cards

An Eurostar gift card holds credit towards high speed rail travel booked through eurostar.com. The code is applied as a voucher at checkout and reduces the amount left to pay on your booking.

Cards are issued in pounds and euros, matched to the country store the recipient books through.

About Eurostar gift cards

Eurostar runs high speed trains between London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and other cities across the Channel Tunnel and mainland Europe. A gift card puts credit towards a journey booked on the Eurostar website, so it suits anyone planning a city break, a family trip or travel for work.

Values run from small amounts suitable as a contribution towards a fare up to larger sums that cover more of a booking, in either sterling or euros. Gift cards can only be spent at eurostar.com, so they are best for travellers who book directly rather than through an agent. Other travel and retail codes sit alongside them in the wider prepaid gift card range.

How to redeem an Eurostar gift card

Redemption happens during the normal booking flow on the Eurostar website, at the payment stage.

Go to eurostar.com and search for your journey as usual.
Choose your trains and fares and continue to the checkout.
Select the option to use a voucher.
Enter the gift card code exactly as supplied.
Click to update the price and check the new total.
Pay any remaining balance to complete the booking.

Regions and where the card works

Eurostar gift cards are issued for a specific country store and currency, so a sterling card belongs with a booking made on the United Kingdom site and euro cards with the matching European store. Buy the card for the country the traveller books from, not the country they are travelling to.

Currency is the simplest guide: match the card to the currency shown at checkout when the recipient books.

Regions currently listed for Eurostar: France, United Kingdom, Netherlands. Use the region filter beside the results to see the cards for one country.
