Can I use a Canadian card in the United States store?

No. Each card is tied to the store and currency it was issued for, so a Canadian dollar code will not apply in the United States store, and the reverse is also true.

Can I pay for a hotel stay with the gift card?

The redemption instructions supplied with these cards cover Fairmont Stores online. Use the code there rather than expecting it to cover a room booking.

What happens if my order costs less than the card value?

Any value not used on a purchase stays on the card, so you can return and spend the remainder on a later order at the same store.

How do I receive the code?

The code is delivered to your order once payment completes, and you enter it in the gift card field at the Fairmont Stores checkout.

Can I use more than one card on a single order?

That depends on the checkout's handling of multiple codes. If only one field is offered, apply one code and settle any remaining balance with another payment method.

About Fairmont Hotels & Resorts gift cards

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts operates hotels and resorts with a long-standing reputation for classic, high-end hospitality. The gift card is a prepaid value code that is used at Fairmont Stores online, the brand's own web shop, rather than paid in at a front desk.

The cards run from modest amounts suitable for a small gift up to larger values, in Canadian dollars or United States dollars depending on the region chosen. They suit anyone shopping the Fairmont range for themselves, and they work well as a present for a traveller or hotel enthusiast when you would rather not choose the item yourself. You will find the brand alongside other prepaid gift cards with the same kind of code based value.

How to redeem a Fairmont Hotels & Resorts gift card

Redemption happens entirely in the Fairmont Stores web shop. Keep the code to hand and enter it when you pay.

Open the Fairmont Stores site at fairmontstore.com.
Choose the items you want and add them to your basket.
Go to the checkout and continue to the payment step.
Find the gift card or voucher field and enter your code exactly as supplied.
Apply the code so the value is deducted from your order total.
Pay any remaining balance by another method if the order comes to more than the card value.

Regions and which card to choose

Each Fairmont Hotels & Resorts gift card is issued for one country's store and currency, so a Canadian dollar card belongs to the Canadian storefront and a United States dollar card to the American one. Buy the card that matches the store and currency the recipient will be shopping in, because a code issued for one region is not interchangeable with the other.

If you are buying a gift, check where the recipient shops before choosing between the regional gift card options.
