How to redeem an Instacart gift card
The code can be added in the Instacart app or on the website. Once added, the value is credited to a single Instacart account and is fully redeemed at that point.
- Sign up for Instacart or log into your existing account.
- In the app, open the main menu and tap Credits, promos & gift cards.
- On the website, click Account or your name, then click Add promo or gift card.
- Enter the code exactly as supplied.
- Place an eligible order and let the credit apply to the total.
Regions and where the card works
Instacart gift cards are tied to the country they were issued for, so a card matches the Instacart account and store coverage of that country and its currency. Buy the version for the country the recipient actually shops in, rather than the country you are buying from.
If you are sending the card as a gift, check which country the recipient's Instacart account is registered in before choosing, as a code intended for one country will not load onto an account set up in another.

- Can I use a US card on a Canadian Instacart account, or the other way round?
- No. Each card is issued for one country and its currency, and it needs an Instacart account registered in that same country. Choose the version that matches where the orders will be placed.
- What happens to any balance I do not spend?
- The value is credited to one Instacart account and stays there as credit until it is used on eligible orders. The card is not reloadable and is not redeemable for cash unless the law requires it.
- Does the gift card expire or carry a fee?

- How do I receive the code?
