Can I use a German voucher in Austria?

No. Each voucher belongs to the country it was issued for and only applies at checkout on that country's Lieferando service. Buy the code for the country where the food will be ordered.

How do I receive the code?

The voucher code is delivered to your order once payment completes, so you can enter it at checkout straight away.

What happens if my order costs less than the voucher?

Voucher credit is applied against the order total, and any remaining amount stays available for a later order. The balance can be seen in your Lieferando account.

Can I pay part of an order with a voucher?

Yes. If the order total is higher than the voucher credit, the remainder is settled with another payment method at checkout.

Do I need a Lieferando account?

Yes. You sign in to the account for the matching country and apply the code during checkout on that order.

Lieferando vouchers

A Lieferando voucher holds credit that goes towards an order on Lieferando, the food delivery service used across Germany and Austria. The code is applied at checkout and covers the order total in the same way as a card payment.

Vouchers suit anyone ordering from local takeaways and restaurants, and work as a straightforward gift for someone who orders in regularly.

About Lieferando vouchers

Lieferando lists restaurants and takeaways for delivery or collection, from pizza and burgers to sushi, kebabs and Asian kitchens, with the choice depending on the addresses served in your area. Voucher credit is spent on orders placed through Lieferando rather than on a single restaurant, so the recipient decides what and when to order.

Face values run from small single-meal amounts up to larger sums suitable for several orders, all in euros. Vouchers sit alongside other prepaid codes for everyday services, and they are a practical option when you want to cover a meal without choosing the menu.

How to redeem a Lieferando voucher

The code is entered during checkout, in the voucher field that sits under the list of available payment methods.

Sign in to your Lieferando account for the matching country.
Add items from a restaurant to your basket and continue to checkout.
Look below the available payment methods for the "Hast Du einen Gutschein?" button.
Click the button to open the voucher field.
Enter the code exactly as received and confirm it.
Check that the credit has been applied, then place your order.

Regions and account matching

Lieferando vouchers are tied to the country they were issued for, so a German code is used on a German account and an Austrian code on an Austrian one. A code issued for one country will not apply at checkout in the other.

Choose the region that matches where the recipient lives and orders their food, since the delivery address and the restaurants available follow the country account.
