Regions and where the card works
Subway gift cards are tied to the country they were issued for. A US card belongs to a US Subway MyWay Rewards account and is spent at Subway restaurants in the United States, while a Canadian card belongs to a Canadian account and is spent in Canada. The currency shown on the card follows the same split.
Buy the card for the country where the recipient actually eats, since a card bought for the wrong country cannot be moved across afterwards.
