The Fork is a restaurant booking service where diners browse venues, reserve a table and, in participating restaurants, pay the bill from their phone with The Fork PAY. A gift card loads a fixed amount of credit that can be put towards eating out at those participating restaurants.
It suits anyone who enjoys trying new places to eat, and works well as a present when you know the recipient dines out but not which restaurant they would pick. The value is set when the card is issued and cannot be changed or topped up afterwards, and cards are issued by La Fourchette España SL, trading as TheFork.

How to redeem a The Fork gift card
Redemption happens inside The Fork PAY, which also shows which restaurants accept the credit.
- Sign in to your The Fork account.
- Open The Fork PAY.
- Enter the gift card code.
- Use the "Where to use my Gift Card?" button, or the "Gift Cards" filter, to find participating restaurants.
- Book and dine at a participating restaurant, then settle the bill with The Fork PAY so the balance is applied.
Regions and where the card works
The Fork gift cards are tied to the country they were issued for, so a Spanish card is meant for participating restaurants in Spain and an account set up for that country. Buy the card that matches where the person will actually be eating.
Check the region marked on the card before ordering, since credit issued for one country will not transfer to another.

Common questions
- Can I use a Spanish The Fork gift card in another country?
- No. The card applies to the country it was issued for and to participating restaurants there. Choose the card for the country where the meal will take place.
- How long is the credit valid?
- The gift card is valid for 18 months from its issue date, which may be earlier than the date you receive it, unless the full value is spent before then.
- How do I get the code?
- The code is delivered to your order once payment completes, and can then be entered in The Fork PAY.
- What happens to money left over after a meal?
- Any remaining value stays on the card for a later visit to a participating restaurant. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded, even in part.
- Can the card be given to someone else?
- Yes, a gift card may be given to another person. It may not be resold.
