Meta Quest keys (formerly Oculus keys) let you redeem VR games and apps for your Meta Quest headset. Here’s how to activate your code.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following ready:
- A Meta account linked to your Quest headset
- The Meta Quest mobile app or access to the Meta Quest website
- Your redemption code
Method 1: Via the Meta Quest App (Recommended)
- Open the Meta Quest app on your phone.
- Tap the Menu icon, then go to Settings.
- Select “Redeem Code” (or find it under your profile section).
- Enter your code and tap “Redeem”.
- The app or game will be added to your library and available on your Quest headset.
Method 2: Via the Meta Quest Website
- Go to secure.oculus.com/redeem-code and sign in with your Meta account.
- Enter your redemption code.
- Click “Redeem” to add the game to your library.
Tips
- Some keys may be for specific Quest models (Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro). Check compatibility.
- Meta Quest keys are generally not region-locked, but some developers may apply restrictions.
- Each key can only be redeemed once and is permanently linked to your Meta account.
- The game will automatically appear in your headset’s library once redeemed.
