Team Cherry games, keys and accounts
Team Cherry is the Australian independent team behind Hollow Knight, a hand-drawn action platformer set in a crumbling insect kingdom, and its follow-up Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Both titles are listed, covering PC and console, with most listings taking the form of keys and a smaller number of game accounts.

About Team Cherry
Team Cherry is a small independent developer and publisher based in Adelaide, Australia. Its work sits firmly in the Metroidvania tradition: exploration-led 2D worlds, demanding combat, hand-drawn art and a quiet, melancholy tone rather than a loud one.
Hollow Knight established that style and Hollow Knight: Silksong continues it. The catalogue is compact, and everything in it belongs to the same action and adventure corner of indie gaming, with platforming and adventure elements throughout.
Hollow Knight games in the catalogue
Hollow Knight is listed for Steam, GOG.com and Nintendo Switch, while Hollow Knight: Silksong covers Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Releases span 2017 to 2025, so both the original and its successor sit side by side.
Each game appears as a key, as a gift delivery and as an account. Accounts come with the game already on it, so you sign in rather than redeem a code; the game accounts category explains how that works. PC buyers will find both titles among Steam keys as well.
How buying works
A key activates on the platform it was made for: Steam and GOG.com codes on PC, Nintendo Switch codes through the eShop, and Xbox One codes on an Xbox account. For step by step instructions, see the guides on activating a Steam key and activating an Xbox key.
Games are sold per region, and a key has to match the region of the account it is redeemed on, so check the region of a listing against your own account before buying. Accounts differ from keys in that nothing is added to your existing library: the game stays on the account supplied with the order.
Common questions
- Which platform do these games activate on?
- Hollow Knight activates on Steam, GOG.com or Nintendo Switch, depending on the listing. Hollow Knight: Silksong covers Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
- Will a key work in another country?
- Only if the key's region matches the region of the account you redeem it on. Region-free listings can be used anywhere, while a regional key needs an account set to that same region.
- What is the difference between a key and an account?
- A key is a code you redeem to add the game to your own library. An account arrives with the game already on it, and you sign in to play instead of redeeming anything.
- When do I receive the key or account details?
- The key or account details are delivered to your order once payment completes.
- Are Hollow Knight and Hollow Knight: Silksong sold separately?
- Yes, each is a standalone purchase. Owning one is not required to buy or play the other.
